    Organizational structure: The Institute of Caribbean Studies (ICS) is a non-partisan, non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization established in 1993, dedicated to education, advocacy and action on issues that impact on Caribbean -Americans. ICS is governed by a Board of Directors. Other arms such as a Honorary Advisory Board, Program Board, and a Private Sector Council and Caribbean American Faith Based Leaders Advisory Council support the programs and activities of ICS.
