Mission statement:	ASD has a public health mission whose purpose is the access tocare and health for all for the better being of the poor, with the aim to ensure that everywhere in Africa and in other tropical worldwide areas, it is possible to initiate and promote any activity research medicinal aid social and solidarity in the fields of health and sustainable human development. In the field of prevention, ASD wishes toestablish targeted programmes allowing populations to quickly identify the symptoms of the most common diseases in their region (endemic), but also to inform themof the first urgent medical advice and persons to contact info. To prevent populations or peoples remain orphans health and medical assistance, ASD wishes to make its competition where all international or national Organisations can intervene for geographical, political, economic, or various reasons. For people, located in the villages, it is often difficult, if not impossible, to visit the cities to get treatment, economicpoverty a barrier to good health of these populations including children know a mortality 12 times higher than those of Western countries. The ASD action aims to organise "Bush clinics" that will be the relay between the nurse of village and urban Health Centres. Most of the major cities of the world have medical units to treat, more orless well, urban populations. This is, unfortunately, not the case of many villages isolated or difficult to access. ASD wants to intervene, primarily, to the populations of these villages where it wishes to establish and train medical relays (nursing type), to teach hygiene, to carry first aid and to alert medical authorities more quickly, if necessary (endemic, epidemic, pandemic). Ignorance and poverty are often vectors of diseases, or even of epidemics. ASD wish to intervene, as a priority, for actions of medical emergencies, but she knows that the best remedies lie in prevention and access to care. Therefore, it aims different developments, including: - education on hygieneand detection of diseases - the development of rural units of first aid - the creation,with the help of international laboratories, local drug production - looking for solutions to medical traditions among its areas of intervention and, without this list beingexhaustive, they relate to promote the following actions : - Deepening and/or maturation of reflections on the problems of the African International Pharmacopoeia - creation of laboratory of pharmacognosy specialized for tropical plants – creating units manufacture and extraction of herbal ingredients and phytocosmetic, from the medicinal potential of plants African or tropical from a list of essential herbs, list who will be arrested by mutual agreement , between specialists of different tropical countries. Selected plants will be used to make several groups of drugs based on diseasesto treat - the creation of centres and private research laboratories of research and analysis for the African pharmacopoeia, in close collaboration with the Commissione-German - training providers for specialized pharmaceutical laboratories for tropical pharmacopoeia as well as the creation of pharmaceutical agencies, etc.
