Mission statement:	We provide a stable base for acquiring, developing and maintaining contacts not only between organizations providing services related to the prevention and treatment of dependencies but even among these organizations, the public, self-governing and other institutions. We are a communication partner for the Government of the Czech Republic, with the ministries, the Secretariat of the Government. Council for Drug Policy Coordination and other state and self-governing institutions, as well as entities active in the integrated drug policy of the Czech Republic. We are dealing with current issues of working with people at risk of addictive behaviour both professionally and in terms of service management, and we propose solutions. We create space for sharing professional experience and topics. We provide legal advice related to the use of illegal drugs in particular. Main activities: Support NGO´s in prevention and treatment of drug addiction. Negotiation with the government about our aims. Participation in meetings of the Government Council for the Coordination of Drug Policy. Members of the committee in ministries.

Number and type of members:	The Association is the umbrella organisation comprising non-governmental organisations providing services for people at risk of addictive behaviour and their families. The Association was established in 1995 and 22 organisations are members today.
