IPA is organized with a Council of Delegates, representing national pediatric societies and global medical and surgical specialty societies, which elects a regionally representative Standing Committee and a global Executive Committee to conduct activities between global meetings. Policy and educational activities in regions and countries engage global content and technical experts from every region organized through Program Area. Current Program Area Committee include Newborn Health & Survival, Immunization, Infectious Diseases, Nutrition, NCD & Mental Health, Adolescent Health, ECD, Education and Pediatric Workforce, Children in Humanitarian and Crises Settings, Displaced Children, Street Childen, Children Out of Home & School, and Social Pediatrics & Child Rights. Additionally, Program Area Working Group include Polio Eradication, Rare and Neglected Disease, HIV, TB, COVID-19, Sickle Cell Disease, Food Safety, Childhood Cancer, Primary Care Pediatricians, School Age Children, AMR, QI and Patient Safety. The IPA is incorporated in Switzerland and is governed by a Council of Delegates comprised of one representative from each member Society, an elected Standing Committee, an Executive Committee of the Standing Committee, and its Officers. |

The International Pediatric Association (IPA) is a non-governmental organization with a membership of 154 National Pediatric Societies from 149 countries, 7 Regional Pediatric Societies representing all areas of the world, and 11 International Pediatric Specialty Societies, including the International Pediatric Chairs Association and the World Federation of Associations of Pediatric Surgeons. |
