Organizational structure: Management board; Management Committee made up of Programme Managers and Heads of Offices; and Executive Committee made up of staff - Project Assistants to Project Officers The Executive Committee seeks approval from the Management Committee, while the Management Committee seeks approval from the Management Board. Depending on the nature of the issue being discussed each level can sometimes make final decisions. There is a large space where project officers (Executive Committee) draw up plans and ideas which the Management Committee reviews and then recommends to the Management Board (MB) for review/approval. Proposals from the MB are also deliberated upon by the other levels.
Number and type of members: Our membership is based around projects involving whole communities, individuals and volunteers. - Estimated membership – ten thousand ERA is open to membership from all parts of Nigeria. Membership is generally built around projects and may be independent of the centre but cannot be independent of the ERA philosophy. Our philosophy is to act as a peaceful pressure group campaigning for change in policies of governmental, non governmental and commercial organizations where these policies are likely to act against environmental human rights; and to enable local people to defend their environmental human rights in law. Volunteers form a formidable asset to our campaign and lobbying.
    Funding structure:
