    Year of registration: 2003
    Organizational structure: FCA is governed by an elected Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will be made up of nine (9) representatives of separate member organizations elected every two (2) years from a slate of candidates derived from the membership. Each of the six WHO regions (AFRO, AMRO, EMRO, EURO, SEARO, and WPRO) shall have at least 1 representative in the Board of Directors. The General Assembly, consisting of all active members, is the FCA's highest authority and adopts decisions by the process of voting.
    Number and type of members: The FCA has total of 405 current members, including: -28 individual members -340 national non-governmental organizations as well -37 regional and/or international NGOs
