The GA convenes every two year after SONYO’s founding congress. The General Assembly formulates, approves and modifies SONYO’s Constitution and policies that bind the organization. The National Council (NC) is composed of a total of thirteen (13) Regional Representatives coming from the six regions of the country. The National Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson lead the National Council. The NC serves a two years time period and acts as Board of Directors. It convenes once every four months. Its members approve SONYO’s policies and procedures. The National Secretariat (NS), led by the Executive Director, is the leading body responsible for the implementation of SONYO’s activities and programs.
