Mission statement:
The basic mission of the EUDES Foundation is to provide personalized and comprehensive attention to individuals with HIV - AIDS and their families, in order to restore their sense of dignity as human beings, by: improving their medical condition, strengthening their spiritual values and reestablishing their place in society as a positive and productive working force. The Eudes Foundation, emerges in 1995, by the confluence of a group of altruistic individuals, professionals and researchers, on a voluntary basis conducting activities aimed at improving the quality of life of HIV-AIDS patients, mainly those with low incomes. To achieve its objectives, the Foundation established the Centre VIHDA Eudes, which has helped more than 800 patients of both sexes and all ages. The center provides health care services, nutritional counseling, psychological support, spiritual assistance and support for the social development of patients and relatives. Among other achievements, we mentioned that in 2004, the Chemical David Izquierdo, chief researcher and co-founder of Eudes, was selected by the UN to present his research protocol and results of the use of SCB nutritional support for people infected with HIV. The Eudes Foundation gives each patient an allocation of SCB nutritional support fortnightly, which consists of four nutritional and vitamin supplements that strengthen the immune system and a pantry commodity. The mission of the foundation is to attend the massive demands of people of both genders, of all ages, with low incomes, who have been affected by HIV-AIDS. This institution supports this extremely marginalized sector of society. As of December, the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations of the Departament on Public Information of United Nations approved the EUDES Foundation for association with the Departament. And also Eudes Foundation was approved on October 10, 2007, by the Permanent Council of the American States Organization (OAS) as participant in the OAS activities.
