Mission statement:	The Family Africa is dedicated to the following: 1.Provide a faith based human service agency. 2.Serve the disadvantaged through education and practical assistance. 3.Facilitate practical training in informal settlements. 4. Support the family unit as a mainstay of society. 5.Support persons affected by HIV/AIDS. 6.To represent similar organisations in the public arena. The Family Africa is a Faith Based Organisation involved in the upliftment and education of “at risk” and vulnerable groups. We support and train HIV + women and their children, promote and conduct HIV and AIDS education programmes in both primary and secondary schools with an emphasis on prevention. We facilitate economic empowerment through micro-business start-up grants and small business training.
