Mission statement:	AMFAR has as main objectives, the following ones. 1.- The representation, management and advocacy of the interests of rural women and families. 2.- Took seek equality of opportunities of the rural women with regard to other communities, by means of the relevant actions and activities. 3.- To boost the development of the rural families and the equal rights with families in urban communities. 4.- To contribute in all forms and by all appropriate means to vocational, technical, social and cultural training of rural women and families. 5.- To promote all kind of training, cultural and social initiatives with the aim to improve the quality of life of rural women and their families. 6.- To promote associativism. 7.- To promote International Cooperation. 8.- To incorporate rural women and families into the processes of natural resources preservation and environmental protection, ensuring a sustainable rural development. 9.- To incorporate rural women into processes of gender equality and social economy. 10.- To promote the development of young rural women and their equality of opportunities. 11.- To represent the economic interest of rural women as one of the agents of the agro-alimentary sector.

Number and type of members:	Associated Members of AMFAR may be: a) Women Associations with a general purpose and provincial or regional scope, which are legal persons. b) Those legal and sectorial persons , or departments for women affairs in agricultural professional organizations, which goals are those to research and promote aspects related to the rural women sector, can become also associated members of AMFAR under the name of adhesion Members. AMFAR’s adhesion members can participate in the General Assembly and Board of Directors meetings through a representative, who shall have speaking rights but no vote rights, provided that these members contribute to ANFAR’s sustainability with a fee that shall be agreed every year. However, no adhesion member can be elected for any of the representation bodies. There are currently 29 members in our association, which are: Our associated members are all organizations.
