Organizational structure: |
A Board of Directors oversees the leadership, strategic direction and operations of the organisation. An executive Director leads a management team of a research, projects/training and office directors. While the office is based in Cape Town, it has a permanent presence in Johannesburg and in the Northern Cape, where three of its crime prevention projects are located. |

The CJCP currently has fourteen full time staff, and six part-time staff, drawn from a range of sectors including criminology, psychology, gender studies, social work and development.
In addition, the CJCP has over 110 project-based research field staff in all nine provinces. These staff have extensive experience working on crime and safety-oriented projects, working with both adults and children. |
