Mission statement:
FENPS (an abbreviation for Formal Education Network for Private Schools) is an active education umbrella under which two dozen functional schools currently operate, with enrolments numbering to 4518 students and over 213 teachers who in spite of the fact that they are under paid, keep on working determinedly. FENPS plays an important role in the progress of education in Somalia through providing regular education to thousands of young boys and girls in its schools located in the central and southern regions of Somalia. Three important elements of FENPS long term plan are:- Vision:-to provide the necessary buildings at all the schools it controls. to provide laboratory facilities, library books and a set of computers to every operational secondary school under its authority. to get trained teachers who can teach all the levels in the schools under its umbrella. Mission: to provide youth with education that is useful for life and further advances through formal schooling. The purpose is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentiality as individual, as responsible citizens and community members of their local, national and international community. Principle: not to be static. That is, to always develop and progress in life. to give equal chances of education to everyone without distinction of origin, race, gender, color or creed. FENPS closely co operates with the organizations and the people who need to be consulted and involved in developing FENPS-affiliated schools education system.
