The Annual General Assembly is the supreme governing body of the organisation and is composed of all the registered and paid up members. The General Assembly is organized to consider and adopt the audited accounts of the organization and the chairperson and treasurer’s reports. The Annual General Assembly elects officials to the Executive Board for three-year tenure in office.
The Executive board is the policy making body of UYONET and is elected democratically by the UYONET Annual General Assembly. It’s assigned with the responsibility of ensuring that UYONET secretariat adheres to the Constitution as well as other established standing administrative and management rules and procedures, and that the planned as well as current engagements meet the organisation’s intended goals and objectives.
UYONET has an established secretariat which coordinates the running of its day to day activities and special projects. The Secretariat is headed by the Executive Secretary and other six full time employees and admits interns as well as volunteers from time to time. |
