The National Youth Parliament of The Gambia composed of Seven Regional Youth Parliament across the Gambia, Consist of Nominated and Elected representatives of the Civil Society Organization. Each Regional Youth Parliament elects 30 parliamentarian through a congress., The 30 elected will again elect Five Executive members as the head of that region who will subsequently represent that region at the National Level. Therefore, We also have a replica of Five Executive as of the region, But this Five are also elected by the representatives of various region, At the National Level they are call the National Executive Council as the governing organ of the Parliament. They are the policy arm of the institution, While the General Assembly are the highest decision making body of the Parliament |
