    Organizational structure: IAP is governed by a non executive Board of Directors, which is being advised and supported by an Advisory Council. The day to day administration of the organisation is overseen by a Management Committee headed by the Executive Director. The organisation has full time and part staff in addition to specialist consultants and other associates and volunteers, including lawyers, journalists, researchers and academics. IAP also has three Committee of Volunteers (CVs) headed by experienced professionals. The board sets the general direction of the organisation each year, and the advisory board provides specialist advice while the management team implements the programmes of IAP.
