Organizational structure: ACA has an Advisory Board which has recently been expanded to broaden expertise. Members are drawn from diverse professional backgrounds including law, social work, research, management, health and education. Board meetings are held semi annually to offer policy direction and approve projects, budgets and reports. Program implementation is coordinated from an established secretariat. The Executive Director offers day to day leadership in daily operations and management. The staff is a team of highly trained and dedicated professionals. ACA enjoys fruitful collaborations and partnerships with numerous local and international organizations, some on one-off, others on short term and yet others on longer term basis. ACA operates on the core values of integrity and participation. We regularly submit finance and activity reports to our partners and beneficiaries in compliance with our Finance and Administration manual, the government regulatory bodies and partners. ACA has innovative programs and approaches of delivery. Linking peace and human rights, mediation and non violent peace building and research with practice has given us sound impetus and attraction. We believe in the synergy generated through collaborations and solidarity building. We are thus involved in several joint programs with like minded organizations, with which we also carry out lobbying and advocacy initiatives.
