    Organizational structure: The highest decision making body is the PIANGO Council which meets every 3 years. The Council elects a Board which provides governance oversight between Council meetings and appoints an Executive Director who manages the day to day operations of the PIANGO Secretariat and implements the agreed Strategic plan and approved annual budget
    Number and type of members: PIANGO has members in 21 Pacific island countries and territories who are umbrella NGOs. Each member has between 60-100 local members
