The representatives of the 47 members organisations ESIB - The National Students Unions in Europe form the General Assembly of the organisation. Twice a year the General Assembly meets to set the political agenda of the organisation and elects 10 representatives to carry out this agenda. Each spring a ten person Executive Committee, including a chairperson and two vice-chairpersons, are elected. All mandates are for one year. In the autumn the General Assembly elects three person Commission for Internal Auditing (CIA). CIA member mandates are for three years. In addition to the Executive Committee and the Commission for Internal Auditing (CIA), ESIB has a secretariat in Brussels from where the Chairperson and Vice-Cherpersons are also based. The member organisations can also decide to create ad-hoc working groups with a specific scope and by a limited period of time. At the moment there are two active working groups: one on the Post-2015 Development Agenda and another one on International Cooperation (with students' unions outside of Europe). |
