Mission statement:	Vision The BUG pursues the vision, to achieve a German society largely free of discrimination, through the use and expansion of the existing legal framework whose proclaimed principle of equality and equal treatment of people living in Germany are met in all spheres of life. Mission The BUG facilitates the widespread use of the General Equality Act by persons experiencing discrimination. For strategically valuable cases, legal aid is made available because the BUG aims for case law. BUG is committed to implement decisions and principles deriving from strategic cases in the political, social and legal environment, to bring discriminatory structures, systems and practices to an end. This is achieved through carrying out litigation, lobbying, information and public relations work. The BUG is strategically networking with relevant stakeholders to achieve synergies.
