Organizational structure: |
The organization has a Board of Directors made of 6, which is the overhead governing body of the organization. AFAWI Advisory Members numbering 2, which is a consultation governing body of the organization. The governing body has the sole responsibility to decide for the organization. Decisions made at the board meetings are channeled through management, whose main duty is to make decisive day-to-day decisions for the organization. The headquarters in Accra currently has 8 staff and volunteers throughout the year. The current members of the Board of Directors are made of 4 females and 2 males, while the Advisory members are one male and a female. Finally, there are 6 female staff and 2 male staff. |
