    Organizational structure: The Human Rights Centre “Tlachinollan” is a human rights organisation working in Guerrero, south of Mexico, since 1993. Today, it has two offices, the main office in Tlapa de Comonfort municipality, Montaña region, and a regional office in Ayutla de los Libres municipality, in the Costa Chica region. The Centre has six specialized units: Education, Communication, Legal, International, Administration and Institutional Building, and a unit to provide specific assistance to Migrants and Agricultural Workers; in addition, there is a Psychological Aid for Victims of Human Rights Violations programme. The work of all units is coordinated and organised by a Coordinators Council, functioning as a decision-making body which determine institutional course of Tlachinollan. Daily activities are guided by strategic lines developed by each Unit: educative process accompaniment; legal defence, integral defence of emblematic cases; construction and strengthen alliances; advocacy at the state, national and international level; public policies advocacy; capacity building for community organisations; information systematisation; conflict mediation; and dissemination of the work of Tlachinollan by means of written, audio and visual media.
    Number and type of members: Tlachinollan has, to date, 27 full-time collaborators; 24 in Tlapa de Comonfort and 3 more in Ayutla de los Libres. The work of Tlachinollan is interdisciplinary, in order to have the capacity to respond adequately to the reality of the region, based on the interaction of the specialized areas integrated by collaborators with different and complementary profiles. Furthermore, Tlachinollan team is integrated mainly with professionals from the region, including, bilingual indigenous women and men, guaranteeing a closer and intercultural attention to the people of the region. The Tlachinollan team, in order to accomplish their objective, must reach all communities that request their presence for any problematic; present themselves in front of authorities when the cases request it; elaborate official documents to authorities or parties; file lawsuits; and call on the parties to attend mediation sessions in the adequate cases.
