    Organizational structure: The supreme decision making body of SSANSA is the General Assembly; It is composed of the general membership of the network. The general Assembly among others; ¿ Assess the performance of the Steering Committee, and take appropriate action based on consensus. ¿ Approves and endorse policies and other relevant documents ¿ Elect the members of the Steering Committee, based on the criteria established within these guidelines for membership. Second in Command is the Steering Committee; It comprises of seven member organizations. The steering committee among others;- ¿ Is the ultimately accountable body to the General Assembly. ¿ Will ensure the effective functioning of governance, through advocacy, related to community security and arms control based on guidance provided to the network Secretariat and its members. Third in the pyramid is the Secretariat, which;- ¿ Runs the day-to-day activities of the network ¿ Coordinates joint activities and source and share information ¿ Plans and execute programmes according to approved mandate of the network ¿ Manages resources and assets in accordance with the policy ¿ Prepares meeting agendas and organizational issues ¿ Coordinates with network members and committees at all levels ¿ Researches opportunities and where possible organize capacity building options for network members
    Number and type of members: Members of the Network include Faith based organizations, Research-based, Human rights, Women, youth and Community based organizations.SSANSA currently has 40members from across all the 10 states of South Sudan.
