    Organizational structure: DW is a woman headed organization governed by an Executive Committee. DW has a seven members’ Board of Governors. The Executive Director is the ex-officio member secretary of the Board of Governors and has overall responsibility in running the organization. The Board of Governors is elected from the 20-member general body. Its financial management is in accordance with internationally accepted financial principles and standards. DW has been maintaining a pleasant, friendly and gender safe environment as almost one third of DW staff are women. The employees of the organization are young, energetic, motivated and innovative in program designing and implementing. Currently 120 skilled personnel are working in DW of which 32 are female. 2 interns and 30 volunteers of which 20 are female are also assisting the program team. DW is a forward looking organization with all modern equipment and office set up with training centre and accommodation facilities. Apart from Head Office in Dhaka, DW also has district offices in Jessore, Narail, Magura, Nilphamari, Dinajpur, Rangpur, Sirajgonj, Pabna, Tangail, Kishoreganj and two in Mymensingh.
