Organizational structure: |
PROBICOU is a membership organization; it is governed by the general assembly which is a supreme organ of the organization. The general assembly meets once a year to evaluate the activities of the organization as well as appoint a board of directors. Under the general assembly, there is a board of directors. The board is the policy making organ of the organization. Currently It is composed of seven people. Four are females and Three males. The staff of PROBICOU does the day today activities of the organization at the secretariat. The secretariat is headed by the executive Director and program officers all four are permanent staff. PROBICOU also has a number of 6 volunteers with various professional backgrounds; they are called upon whenever there are activities that require them.
. PROBICOU has three programs namely Chemicals, Biodiversity conservation and Development, as well as Waste management program. |

Currently PROBICOU has 1011 members.of which 510 are female while 490 are males while 11 are community based organizations .It has 1000 full members and 11 honorary members.over 70% live in rural agricultural areas. |
