Major group affiliation:
  • Business and industry
  • Non-governmental organization
Involvement in UN Partnerships: Yes
If yes, explain in detail: We work closely with the UN Global Compact, as we have been the Brazilian Focal Point and held the Global Compact Brazilian Network’s executive secretariat for a couple of years. We also serve on the Global Compact’s Board and work in partnership with them in our Clean Games Project, which is part of the Siemens Integrity Initiative. We were also responsible during the Millennium Development Goals Campaign in Brazil. Our diverse working groups (specified in full in the following sections) have also worked with different UN agencies in a number of activities. We are also partners in publications and events. Some of the agencies that we have worked with (and still work with) are: UNODC, UNDP, UNICEF, UNEP, ILO, UNITAR, UNCTAD, UN-Women and UNFCC.
Affiliation with other organizations: Ethos Institute works with a vast number of organizations in all of its different fronts. Below are listed most of the international and national organizations, but it is also important to note that, as we are a Corporate Social Responsibility organization, we also work closely with large and small companies, in Brazil and internationally, to promote our mission and goals.
