    Organizational structure: We have four organs that make up the structure. The highest decision making organ Board of Trustees. It meets annually. It has five members. The second organ of the organization is the Central Governing Board (CGB) that takes strategic decision on all actions, events, programs and strategic plan of the organization. It has seven members. it meets every quarter to review performance and implementation. It has also opportunity to hold emergency meetings when necessary. The third Organ is the Executive Management Committee charged with the operational activities of the organization. it is headed by the Executive Director and made up of heads of departments and thematic areas advisers and volunteers. It is made up of Nine members ad it meets monthly except on emergency situations. The last organ is the Secretariat. It is made up of staff and volunteers. it is popularly referred to as staff congress. Every full-time staff and longtime volunteer is a member. This organ meets meets. Each organ reports to the next superior organ through the head of that organ. Decisions are also passed down organs through their next superior organ. Each organ conducts its activities democratically.
    Number and type of members: We have three classes of membership. (1) professional members, (2) Affiliate members (3) Field members. The professional members are those volunteers that uses their skills to advance the vision and mission of the organization. They include Doctors, researchers, teachers, engineers, Lawyers, social crusaders, etc. We have a total of 28 professional members. Affiliate members are members of the communities that we have agreement and partnership understanding to pursue our vision and mission jointly. They are spread across 5 states of the south eastern Nigeria. We rely on them for impact oriented advocacy and program ownership/sustainability. We have over 1,742 members. The Field members are members of our various program committees and established platforms in communities. we have 193 field members.
    Affiliation with NGO networks: Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All (CSACEFA), African Rivers Network, Coalition On Accountability Transparenct Extrative Industries Fisherry and forestry in Nigeria (CATEIFFN), Development Professionals, Southeast Forum, NOPRIN
