Mission statement:	Since its creation in 1998, the Rural Girls Education Support Committee (CSSF) has worked to improve enrollment rates of rural girls. CSSF role is to advocate with the government and the general population for a quality education accessible to all without any discrimination, either social or gender-based. Illiteracy and ignorance in which women live, whether the situation is circumstantial or deliberate, is nothing less than another form of violence against women. CSSF is active at the national level to advocate and promote the full enrollment of rural girls. The objectives of the CSSF are: - Preventing girls dropout in rural areas - Facilitating access and retention of rural girls in all levels of education - Supporting and initiating actions to improve schooling conditions in rural areas. Through their action on a small scale, CSSF tries to some some gaps in Moroccan education system. However, CSSF remains weak and helpless face to challenges that fall within the institutional level. For this reason, the problem of schooling should be taken seriously through a comprehensive, structural and general approach, and this must be a priority and a national emergency. Improving the educational system is the great challenge that Morocco has to deal with in order not to jeopardize all the development efforts undertaken elsewhere. While it is true that education is expensive, the cost of illiteracy in the long term is definitely higher. The bankruptcy of the national education is a danger that undermines the development of Moroccan society. Recent analyses made by the Higher Council of Education on school issues in Morocco (Analytical Report 2008) state that enrollment is affected by a poor educational offer, a lack of basic equipment and insufficient teachers.

Organizational structure:	CSSF was created by 13 founding members. The executive board is elected every 3 years, takes decisions and sets up strategy plans and orientations. The 4th board (elected in November 2009) was composed of 9 members. The operational board is composed of permanent and contractual staff.
