Mission statement:	1.1 VISION The vision of SURCOD is a community that is empowered to advance rural initiative to access basic needs which can promote sustainable livelihood through self reliance and community participation. 1.2 MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to facilitate development based on self-dependence, self sufficiency through effective implementation, promotion and support of integrated rural development with full participation, ownership and promotion of rights based approaches of the rural communities. 1.3 GOAL Our goal is to promote sustainable integrated community development with the rural communities through improving food security, promotion of saving spirit, empowerment of women, promotion of education and literacy, water and sanitation, and adaptation and mitigation of climate change. 1.4 OBJECTIVES a) To improve food security and house hold income in the rural. b) To promote good health through increasing awareness on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria, and safe motherhood. c) To promote access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene. d) To promote quality education, adult literacy levels and affordable vocational skills to the vulnerable youth and women. e) To improve the status of women, child rights and human rights issues in general. f) To promote awareness of natural resources, climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Organizational structure:	The Organisation is governed by the Board of Director who appoint the Executive Director. And the Executive Director works with the finance director, project director and administration director. Down in the community there are field Officers and volunteers who works in various projects
