    Organizational structure: The Valued Citizens Initiative has structured its organisation accordingly to good governance and efficiency in delivering its programmes. To ensure good governance of the organisation, members are co-opted annually to a Board of Directors. Quarterly Board meetings are held with the managing director to review and approve plans, programmes and expenditure by the organisation. Moreover the Board holds an annual general and strategy meeting. It is divided into six departments subordinate to the General Manager and Founder of the NGO: -Communication Division: including our Events, Art enrichment programmes, Public Relations and Social media. - Administrative Division - Social Support: a division supporting the other departments and some beneficiaries (social worker etc.) - Partners Staff Development Programme Division: This division was created in order to raise more funds and strengthen our partnerships with corporate. We deliver trainings on team building, Ethics etc. - Restorative Justice Programme Division: It focuses on Crime prevention in schools, Children, youth and adults in conflict with the law diversion programmes, Social Workers training etc. - School Enrichment Programmes Division: Our 6 programmes designed for schools and its stakeholders are the core of the Valued Citizens Initiative. It focuses on creating an enabling environment for the school community to develop self-esteem and responsibilities, developing educators as role models for the learners – mastering relevant skills and knowledge and implementing them in the classroom with confidence and ethics, improving the productive capacity and quality of our learning institutions by building dynamic and vibrant schools with dedicated teachers who understand the moral purpose for teaching, equipping youth with life and leadership skills and addressing the low number of enrolments in tertiary education.
