Mission statement:	WABAZ’s mission is to empower women in business through dialogue, advocacy, networking and information sharing. To empower women and develop an enabling environment for women's potential in businesses and the economy addresses issues affecting women entrepreneurs. Our mission is guided by the following; • Increased research data on women in businesses to allow designing programs and products that meet the needs of women entrepreneurs. • Establishment of a ‘one stop shop’ for registration and licensing to encourage women to formalize their enterprises • Provision of independently-administered whistleblowers facilities by local authorities, government agencies, and other key service providers to restrain gender-specific discrimination. • Constructive engagement between the government and business associations to ensure that appropriate policies and regulations addressing the needs of women in businesses are formulated and implemented. • Business associations to publicize their programs and develop services to attract new women entrepreneurs. • Partnership between Women Associations and the financial sector, to offer specific services that ensure that women entrepreneurs are prepared and informed about specific loans. Which inturn will address issues of gender inequality and allow active participation of women in the economy.
