Organizational structure: |
C-PORCDEV ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE.
GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
1. There shall be a general assembly for the organization which shall comprise all members of the organization.
2. The general assembly is the supreme and highest decision making organ of the organization.
3. All decisions taken by an officer or organ of the organization shall be subject to the ratification by the general assembly.
4. The organization may appoint special/ad hoc committee whenever the occasion demands.
5. Special or ad hoc committee of the organization shall be dissolved at the end of its assignment.
BOARD OF GOVERNORS AND TRUSTEE:
There shall be Board of Governors and Trustee of the organization. The Board of Governors shall comprise of The Board of Trustees members, The Patrons of the organization and The Executive Council of the organization.
MANAGEMENT STAFF.
1. The organization shall a Management Staff.
2. The organization shall recruit staff to run the offices of Center for Poverty Reduction and Community Development.
3. The staff shall comprise of Accountant, Monitoring and Evaluation officer, Programme Officers, Research Officers, Woman Empowerment Programme Officer, Clerks, Secretary, Cleaners, Drivers, Security officers and others as the need arises.
4. The Management Staff shall run the day to day business of the organization.
5. They shall source for grants and execute the projects of the organization in the needs and locations assigned to them by the General Assembly.
6. The Management Staff shall report directly to the Director, Board of Trustee of the Organisation which shall in turn report to the Chairman General Assembly. |
Number and type of members: |
C-PORDEV has women and youth organization comprising of over 3000 women and youth distributed into 300 women and youth groups distributed throughout the local governments in Akwa-Ibom and Imo State. These are rural women,widows and youths that are being supported through, capacity building training on the C-PORCDEV 8 majour sectors including micro-credit schemes and farming programmes to ensure their self-dependence. In the women arm of the organization, women occupy and coordinate all offices and positions within the arm like wise the youth arm. |
