    Organizational structure: Summit Foundation (SUFO) has a three-tier structure designed to deepen accountability, transparency and decision–making effectiveness within and outside the organization. SUFO is an independent charity organization with a General Assembly, a Board of Directors and a Secretariat. The Secretariat supports capacity building processes for the governing structures to enable them effectively fulfill their mandate. The Chairman of the Board of Directors is also the Chairman of the General Assembly, and leads the team in providing effective good governance and oversight responsibility; while the Executive Director is the Chief Executive Officer of the Summit Foundation (SUFO), and provides strategic leadership on all matters of finances and management, implementation of the Board decisions, and strategic policy orientation of the organization’s Staff and management.
    Number and type of members: Summit Foundation (SUFO) has 17 registered members forming its Governing Council. The Governing Council elects a Board of Directors comprising of five voting members. Membership is open and voluntary to any person, who wish to join, and membership application made thereof to the Board, through the Executive Director for approval.
