    Organizational structure: ATAG is an independent coalition of member organisations and companies throughout the commercial aviation industry. Its secretariat in Geneva is run by an Executive Secretary with two full-time staff. Members contribute staff and experts in various fields of sustainable development to assist ATAG's work.
    Number and type of members: As the only global cross-industry organisation representing the entire aviation value chain on sustainability issues, ATAG's members include airports, airlines, manufacturers, air traffic management organisations, airline pilot and air traffic controller unions, chambers of commerce, travel and tourism organisations, investment organisations, ground transportation and communications providers within four different categories of membership. There are four different categories of membership: funding members, associate members, active members and partnership organisations. ATAG's Board of Directors, or Funding membership, includes: Airports Council International, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation, CFM, Embraer, Honeywell Aerospace, GE, International Air Transport Association, Pratt & Whitney and Rolls-Royce.
