Mission statement:	Short for Societal, Environmental and Economic Development Trust of Zimbabwe, SEED Trust Zimbabwe is a not for profit organization that advocates for the realization of sustainable development in Zimbabwe. VISION To aspire for a prosperous Zimbabwe by seeing through the realization of equitable and sustainable development. MISSION To facilitate and create an ecologically sound, socially equitable and economically just Zimbabwe. OBJECTIVES The objectives of SEED Trust are: 1. To ensure resources security and poverty reduction with sustained social and economic development for the benefit and advancement of human development in Zimbabwe. 2. Facilitate an environment for good governance and social security. 3. To ensure sound ecosystem management and environmental responsibility by encouraging sustainable natural resources management and resilient biodiversity conservation as well as reducing pollution. 4. To initiate activities and projects that will create / enhance sustainable environments for socio – economic sectors, such as agriculture, manufacturing industries, mining, health, education, water and natural resources and at the same time safeguard the environment. 5. To develop the natural resource base and improve the state of the environment by encouraging and facilitating improvements through specialist advice and hands on support to primary, secondary and tertiary industrial sectors techniques through proving strategic direction. 6. To enter into any arrangement with persons, groups or associations carrying on and engaging in activities that safeguard or improve the environment as well strive for the realization of social and economic development of the citizenry of Zimbabwe. 7. To collect and disseminate information on issues related to environmental management and social sustainability and economic development.
