Mission statement:	COSPE works towards building a world in which diversity is considered a value, a world with many voices, where the encounter influences and enriches us, where the social justice allows equal rights and opportunities to all. COSPE’s story is one of "taking part" and a "position" in the defense of rights with the knowledge that is it impossible to remain neutral. However, the basis of the human rights is the right to a dignified existence and a quality of the life that is a determined factor both from economic parameters and from the true possibility of active participation in the deciding process. COSPE works for dialogue between people, between populations and cultures, for fair and sustainable development, for human rights that aim toward attainment of`peace and justice. COSPE has identified some themes, defined as priority topics, for the association’s focus: Women Rights and Gender Fairness: COSPE intends to strengthen the placement and power of women and is committed to supporting women in their journey towards social insertion, autonomy of self-empowerment, self-improvement, self-worth of the knowlege and distinctiveness that they carry on. Rights and dual citizenship: COSPE intends to support the creation of a pluralistic society, opposed to the marginalization and social exclusion that subordinate citizens of foreign origin. Jobs and economic and social insertion: COSPE fights so that all people have the right for equal compensation, job protection, improve condition for development, personal dignity, self-determination and economic independence, and the self motivation. A job is the access key to many other rights, such as healthcare, a safe habitation, the possibility of education for children. Infant and Adolescent Rights: All children and adolescents must be able to have guaranteed fundamental human rights and access to equal conditions for the quality of life and the future, through methods of participation and being heard to build the course of their own lifes. Food sovereignty COSPE supports the political work done by organizations that defend the common good and participation processes from the bottom up, aimed to manage (or reappropriate)the property in the local environment. This allows for lNGO term sustainable development that is not restricted by political interests within the local governments or by the economics of the society’s production and multinational distribution. It also acts in such a way that establishes new and diverse trade policies alNGO with creating a new international commerce and credit for the Southern countries as independent international world traders.

Organizational structure:	Association structure present different bodies: Assembly( constituted by Cospe associates); board of directors( with ordinary and special administrative rule, it elects President, General Secretary and Vice); President( represents politically the organisation); Auditors Board( controls accounting). Organisation structure has different functions. The General Secretariat has legal responsibility and engages in ordinary administration. For general coordination General Secretariat works with the Technical Direction, composed by the directive group of the organisation( Administrative director, Project office director, fund raising and communication office director). Projects office include 9 organizational areas, geographically distinguished for foreign activities and thematically for activities in Italy( Africa Sub-saharian Area, Asia, Mediterranean and South-Est Europe, Latin America, Interculturalism and Rights of Infants and Adolescents, Development Education, Promotion of the Rights of citizenship, Training). Areas are coordinated by Areas chiefs. The Administrative Office is involved in the administrative and economic management of projects and of others association activities. Fund raising and communication office is responsible for communication actions, events organisation, and management of private citizens’ funds.
