    Organizational structure: University of Magdalena has a maximum body of its organizational structure to the High Council, and hence is derived the Academic Council followed by the Rectory. It has 3 departments responsible for ensuring the mission of the University axes which are: Department of Teaching, Department of Research and Social Department. The University also has an Institute of Open and Distance Education, Institute of Graduate and Continuing Education, a Department Administration and Finance Department. Also, to ensure each of the internal and external process of the University, has a Secretary General, an Office of Accreditation, an office Self-evaluation by the High Quality in Higher Education, an Office of Internal Control, an Office Internal Disciplinary Control, a Legal Advisory Office, a Planning Advisory Office, a Department of Communications and Public Relations and International Relations Department.
    Number and type of members: University of Magdalena has approximately 16,000 members, including students, teachers, contractors, researchers, managers and administrators.
