Organizational structure: |
African Women's Alliance has a Board of Directors that is the Governing Body for the organization. The Day to Day activities are run by an Executive Committee. The Board of Directors and Executive Committees are supported by the membership, volunteers and interns. |
Number and type of members: |
African Women's Alliance has individual membership. Worldwide membership at present is about 100. We are also in affiliation/membership with regional, community and national organizations with whom we collaborate to promote social and economic policies.African Women's Alliance membership also advocates the Sustainable Development Goals through discussions and initiatives that advance global and national objectives. Membership includes individuals from Africa, the Caribbean, North and South America. They are professors, doctors, lawyers and other professional people, as well as non-professionals. |
