    Organizational structure: Feed the Nation-Uganda currently has a multi-disciplinary skilled, experienced and competent youth-led team of 25 working at managerial levels from various technical backgrounds and these are salaried employees. In second line the organization has 35 field assistants and researchers in the frontline working on projects initiated with their role to direct implementation, monitoring and evaluations of such projects under taken and each sector has sub sect oral leaders who reports to the Executive Director. With the Board of Directors; hereinafter referred to as the Board, is the supreme governing body of Feed the Nation-Uganda. it is composed of 15 members of whom 11 are paid-up members elected directly according to the Feed the Nation –Uganda’s constitution, two honorary members appointed as independently through an extensive process involving management, the Board and the annual general meeting and finally two external senior advisors. Note the two honorary members and two external senior advisors are not privileged to vote during elections and their presence does not affect the quorum. It meets annually; the main role and responsibility is to provide proper guidance to management regarding the strategic direction of the organization, and oversees management’s efforts to move in the right direction and holds it accountable for the agreed decisions. Executive Committee; Consists of Board members, the chairpersons of the other committees, and one or two others considered important to this committee. It plays a key role in directing the activities, discussions and decisions of the Board. It also discusses issues in preparation for a full board discussion and establishes an initial level of consensus on difficult issues that the Board must address. It meets often because it plays an important role in the overall functioning of the Board.
    Number and type of members: The organization has closed membership with maximum number of fifteen (15) only. These members include founder members, staff members selected and few external advisors on the board. President; this is a post that shall be given to the member who initiated the concept of starting this organization, and he/she is lifetime member of the organization. On certain issues his words are final such as dismissal of staff member or board members who fail to work under the stipulated guidelines. Founder Members; these are members who actively involved in the establishment of this organization and are also lifetime members of the organization. They are limited to seven. General Members: General membership is issued to those organizations or persons who might have contributed to the achievement of this organization’s objectives. General membership is open. Honorary Members; these are organizations or individuals members who have made considerable contribution towards the attaining of the organization principled objectives, whom the Board thinks are important, are issued with honorary membership as per the decision of the Board of Directors. N.B Honorary member take part in the meetings of the organization but they are not privileged to vote during the elections and his/her presence shall not affect the quorum.
