Sanofi Espoir Foundation has been provided with three complementary governance bodies to assure that it activities are relevant, efficient and transparent. They comprise Sanofi representatives, Sanofi employees, and qualified individuals from the field of public health and development aid. •A Board of Directors which meets at least twice a year to set the organization’s broad guidelines, validate strategic projects valued at above 200,000 euros a year. •A Selection Committee which meets at least twice a year to make recommendations to the Board of Directors. To approve new projects valued between 50,000 euros and 200,000 euros per year, the project selection committee brings together complementary skills that ensure impartial decisions . •The Foundation Team which proposes new projects and meets regularly with partners to monitor and evaluate projects and decide with them on communication operations and leverage actions. It coordinates humanitarian emergency activities, helps mobilize the Group's employees, coordinates the Selection Committee and advises subsidiaries on humanitarian support actions. •Expert Committees which provide guidance to the Foundation when identifying and developing new programs to fight against childhood cancer (Steering Committee of the "My Child Matters" program) and maternal and neonatal mortality (Expert Committee on Maternal and Neonatal Mortality). |
