    Organizational structure: Governance Structure and Organs ZWRCN is a well-established organization with a functional and effective national secretariat. It is a legal entity with a constitution, systems and procedures in place. The governance structure of ZWRCN comprises of the Board of Directors, Management Committee and the Secretariat. Board of Trustees ZWRCN has a Board of Trustees, which is responsible for upholding the organizational vision and objectives and for safeguarding the values, assets, reputation and image of ZWRCN. The Board also ensures that ZWRCN delivers on commitments made to projects in an effective and efficient manner. It is the policymaking body and meets bi-annually. The Executive Director sits on the Board as an Ex-officio. Management Committee ZWRCN has a Management Committee, which is responsible for discussing and setting strategies on the recommendations made by the Board. It provides a link between the secretariat and the Board, and is comprised of the Executive Director and programme managers. Secretariat The Executive Director (ED), who is appointed by the Board, heads the Secretariat. The ED is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization and management of staff. She ensures that policies and projects are developed and implemented accordingly. She is an ex-officio member of the Board and the accounting officer of the organization.
    Number and type of members: The organization is headed by an Executive Director with a staff compliment of 18. The organization has two main departments: Programmes and Administration Programmes ZWRCN has two programmes: • Gender, Economic Policies and Public Finance (GEPPF) • Gender and Information The programmes department is headed by the Programmes Coordinator and with a Project Officer heading each of the programmes. Key Programme Staff include: Programmes Coordinator; Programme Officer; Information Officer ; Research, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer and Assistant Programme Officers Finance & Administration The Finance & Administration department is headed by Finance Officer. This department has a staff compliment of 6. Apart from the Finance Officer there is a Finance Assistant, Administration Assistant, Driver and two Office Orderlies.
