Organizational structure: |
Boy With a Ball Global is a convening intermediary organization that provides funds and services to beneficiary organizations within our network as well as helping found new network organizations. Boy With a Ball Global network beneficiary organizations are strengthened through services provided by BWABG such as training, technical assistance, regranting of funds, organizational assessment, knowledge sharing and networking. In order to be an active member in the BWABG Network or Community of Practice, beneficiary organizations have to have signed an agreement committing to dedicate themselves to a common theory of change called T.O.M.S.E. that includes building Teams, conducting Outreach as well as developing Mentoring relationships and developmental Small groups from which young people and their families can be Equipped. Apart from this agreement to common practices, to a core set of values and to a common pursuit of best practices, each beneficiary organization is autonomous and is governed by its own indigenous board of directors. |

Boy With a Ball Global currently has seven member organizations within the network (Kenya, Nigeria, Baltimore, Boston, San Antonio, TX in the U.S., Costa Rica and Nicaragua) but is in the process of expanding into a total of ten countries over the next three years and 30 countries over the following decade. |
