    Organizational structure: The organization is managed by an 11 person board of directors & its daily operations are coordinated by an Executive director (ED). Board members are responsible for selecting an ED, supporting & appraising the ED, coordinating organisational planning and ensuring availability of resources, monitoring the progress of the organisation and serving as a court of appeal on personnel matters. The Headquarters (HQ) of the organisation is made up of the ED; Team leader Programs, Team Leader Finance & Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinators, Communications Officers and Administration/HR Coordinator. These staffs form the technical human resources that ensure the successful management, delivery and sustainability of programs at state levels. The state offices are managed by a Team leader and Finance/admin coordinator. These staffs are supported by Program Coordinators, Program Assistants & volunteers that are primarily responsible for the implementation of program activities at the state level. The organisation also has a Senior Management Team (SMT), which comprises the ED, Team leader Programs, Finance & Admin Team leader, Admin/HR Coordinator, & all state Team leaders; they are responsible for making operational and programmatic decisions on behalf of the organisation. The ED is the primary image maker of the organization & primary liaison for partners/donors. She heads the senior management team and is a member of the board of directors. However, at the state level, the Team leaders may act on-behalf of the ED. The Team leaders programs are responsible for the management of the organization’s projects including the development of project proposals; budgets; staffing as well as monitoring and evaluation. They provide technical guidance to the Project Coordinators in the implementation of project activities in accordance with work plans; supervises and support all Project Coordinators and is responsible for the routine appraisals of these staff. They also serve as members of the Senior Management Team, responsible for making day-to-day organizational management decisions. The Team leader Finance & Admin heads the finance and admin department. She is responsible for the financial management of the organization including the development of organizational/program budgets; disbursement of funds; documentation of financial expenditures; compilation of financial reports and monitoring adherence to financial procedures. She is also serves as a member of the senior management team and supervises as well as supports the finance/administrative staffs. The Admin/HR Coordinator is in charge of all administrative and HR duties including managing and implementing procurement procedures in line with admin & finance policies, ensuring compliance to employee policy, coordinating staff and volunteer recruitment process and orientation. She also supervises support staffs which includes office assistants and drivers. With regards to financial management, each state manages funds allocated to projects within their states. However where projects are multi-state, the funds are managed at HQ level. All organisational and projects bank accounts have four signatories which may include the ED, Finance and Admin TL, state Finance Coordinator and a Program Staff responsible for the project. In terms of communication channels, the Program staff (Coordinators, Officers and Assistants) report primarily to their State team leaders and their respective project technical lead (Team leader Programs). The state team leaders report operational, programmatic & financial issues to the ED and programmatic issues only to the Team leader Programs. The Finance and Admin Coordinators report to their respective state team leaders and the Finance and Admin Team leader. The Admin/HR coordinator reports operational issues to the Finance and Admin Team Leader and HR issues to the ED.
