    Organizational structure: The organization consists of three main organs: the General Assembly, Board of Directors and the Management. The General Assembly includes both individuals and organizational members and currently it has a membership of over 250. LIFES Board of Directors is a 7 member Board, comprising of 3 females and 4 males. The Board is the policy making body of the organization and meets annually to review performance of the organization, approve programmes and budget for the organization. The Management, headed by the Executive Director is saddled with the responsibility of policy implementation and the general day-to-day running of the organization. The structure is organized into four proposed projects viz; Environment, Governance, Peace and Conflict Resolution, and Natural Resource Development. There is also a unit of Administration and Finance which is saddled with the administrative and accounting issues. LIFES has operational and functional offices, well equipped and staffed in Ekiti and Lagos States covering the whole of the South West zone. As a national organization, LIFES has a wide coverage of programmes and activities throughout the country.
