Global Aid Hand Organizational Structure Global Aid Hand (GAH) is led through the direction of high level individual from different sectors and professions that form the Board of Directors with an executive made of Chairperson, Vice Chairperson Treasurer, Organizing Secretary and Secretary who is the Chief Executive Director. The board meets every 3 months to deliberate in issues arising in that period and to forge forward as per the organization strategy. The board has given the Secretary (Chief Executive Director of GAH) the mandate to run the daily affairs of the organization and to report to the board. They are the final decision making organ in GAH The operations of GAH are lead and managed by a Chief Executive Director (CED) who answers to the board of Directors and reports to them. The CED has management and supervisory roles and is a highly qualified individual, presently he is among the founders of GAH but the position may be by appointee. The CED is the final decision making person acting on behalf of the board. He represents the organization and is the signatory for the partnership agreements and for financial accounting. He is also the signatory for banking. The CED is the highest employee position in the organization. The CED supervises the head of Programs and the Head of Operations who are part of the Senior Management Executive Management Unit and together the three individuals run the operations of the organizations Under the Head of Programs are the different program units and the field offices. The officer is in charge of Program Development, Program Implementation and Program Quality with Managers, Coordinators Officers and Officer Assistants under each area of program unit. The program Development unit does all the proposal development design and reviews and hands the grants to the Program Implementation team that use a results based interventions to achieve outcomes finally the Program Quality department used a MEAL approach to ensure quality effective and timely implementation, they also are charged with communication and reporting of success. The Head of Operations is in charge of all program support for the organization and oversees work of Human Resources(HR), Finance, Procurement and Logistics, Safety and Security and Administration both at the Head Quarters (HQ) and the Field level (States) . Each operations unit is lead by a Manager under whom are coordinators Officers and Assistant Officers At each State (South Kordofan, West Kordofan, East Darfur, South Darfur and Blue Nile) there is a State Manager in charge of both Program Management and Operations these are experienced and competent individuals with understanding of GAH programs, Administration, Supervision and basic financial knowledge. All the staff in the state are under him/her even though some may have dotted line reporting to HQ e.g. technical program units, M&E, Finance and Procurement.
