Literate Kenya Initiative is a non-governmental organization registered under the Incorporation of non-governmental organizations Act 1990. The Constitution list the objects of the Organization, its legal powers, composition of the Board, office bearers, conduct of elections and general meetings, membership, and so on. Copies of the Constitution are held in the office and are available to all members and staff of the organization.
Literate Kenya Initiative is led by a Board of Directors who gives technical expertise to the various strategic directions as captured in the strategic plan. The secretary to the board is the Administrative Director, who also oversees the Administrative running of the organization.
Literate Kenya Initiative has an executive team comprising of the Director; Administration, Director; Operations/ programs and Human Resource Manager with volunteers who help out in various dockets including Monitoring, Sorting and mending, Public relations and finance. |
