Mission statement:	Fondazione CRT originated in 1991 from the Torino Saving Bank, in the context of the Italian banking sector transformation. Today, it’s a non-profit private legal entity, which always focuses its resources and work on the most relevant social issues of the communities living in the North West of Italy and in the Euro-Mediterranean region. Projects and resources cover mainly three areas: Arts and Culture, Research and Education, Welfare and Environment. Throughout its first twenty years of history, Fondazione CRT has followed three different operational approaches which nowadays complement each other: the awarding of direct grants, the planning of its own projects and the venture philanthropy approach. As at today, total grants reached the amount of 1,5 billion euros.

Organizational structure:	The Governance of the Foundation is composed by a Board of Trustees and a General Council. The Secretary General is the responsible of the structure wich counts 43 people on permanent contracts plus several consultant. The departments are: Secretariat, Legal Affairs, Administration and Accounts, Planning Management and human resources, Institutional Activities, Grant Allocation Support, Internal Audit, Finance, Logistics, External Relations, IT, International projects and networks.
Number and type of members:	besides the governing bodies and the staff, the Foundation built a community of practice with the grant receivers. This community named CLAB gathers more than 1.500 individuals through an on-line platform and a series of dedicated events and activities.
