Mission statement:	A. To Protect, Preserve, Regulate and Control the Forest Environment and Trees therein, Its Resource, and Wood in India. B. To establish a relationship between forest trees and the product manufactured using forest based raw material, by way of establishing a scientific technique, geographic identification, Natural identification, Risk Analysis or by any mean. C. To Study from Scientific, Technical, Social, Economical, Legal and Traditional point of view of the Forest Plant Species, its plantation, Its Industrial use, Its commercial activities, Storage, Transportation and other activities which are related to Growing of Trees, Its cutting, its re-plantation, selling, purchasing, Trading, Storing, segregating, Identifying, seasoning, Sewing, Veneering, Industrial activities and other treatment related to wood. D. To Regulate, Plan, Organize, Execute and Control the Protection, cutting, re-plantation, seasoning, storing, supplying, trading and processing of Forest plant species. E. To Establish a system of chain operation which identify the forest trees and its product during the growth of trees in forest, its cutting, it’s appropriate transfer by way of sale, purchase, transfer, lease, carriage, sawing, seasoning, chemical treatment, peeling, veneering, production, manufacturing storage, it’s industrial use and final sale of wooden product. F. To conduct the audit of the business operation system from forest protection point of view and Issue a certificate of confirmation. G. To make Laws, Regulation, code of Conduct and any other Rules & Regulation required for the purpose as mentioned in para 5G H. To undertake the activities related to Forest plantation, Internal Audit, Surveying, I. To Establish Good Forestry Practice which refers to the forest activities that enable the forest to Grow healthy plants, maintain ecological processes and wild life habitats as well as products. Good Forestry practices – (a) Minimize environmental damage to the site (such as soil, water and young vegetation). (b) Protect Forest components including species diversity. (c) Minimize damage to or enhance wildlife habitats. (d) Encourage sustainable forest management (improving forest health and continuous improvement in forest product overtime. (e) Provide for worker safety. (f) Provide continual & increase economic benefits to landowners. (g) Consistent with long term forest management planning. J. To Inspire an understanding and awareness amongst Forest Product Consumers about the need of conservation of Forest trees Species, natural resource and for maintaining the ecological balance. The essentials inputs of appart from observing forest trees:- (a)Scientific information about species. (b)Scientific information regarding eco-system in which the species thrives and its role in the eco-system (c) Relevance of the species in specific and bio-diversity in general in conservation of the eco system and relevance of the eco system to the day to day life wellbeing of the people who depends on forest. (d) The society shall direct its efforts/program towards Forest and Non forest area both. K. To borrow loans for running the business of the Society and to arrange for its repayment; L. To acquire or dispose of any movable or immovable property of any kind in any manner required in the interest in favour of the society/Society. M. To do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of any or all the above objects.
