    Organizational structure: The NACAFV is a non-profit, charitable national Indigenous organization. Representation on the volunteer Board of Directors of the NACAFV are from various Indigenous family violence service providers including Indigenous women and children's shelters and transition houses across Canada. There are currently six (6) Board of Directors from across the country.
    Number and type of members: There are currently over one hundred (100) Women's Shelters and Transition Houses that provide front line services to Indigenous women and children across the country who are members of the NACAFV. There are no fees or dues for membership.
