Blacksmith Institute maintains a small, very efficient core office in New York that supports its field programs. Senior level advisors from Blacksmith Institute’s Technical Advisory Board (a board of professional experts in field relations to environmental engineering, remediation and public health, among other fields) are responsible for risk and regulatory matters, including meeting international standards for projects and activities, assisting with project monitoring and reporting directly to Pure Earth’s CEO and Director of Operations. The Director of Operations provides ongoing technical guidance and support to Project Directors and field professionals. Blacksmith Institute’s internal quality management system ensures that project managers reduce waste, response time, errors and inefficiencies, and continually strive to improve overall service and satisfaction. |
