Mission statement:	Sahyog International Foundation is established for charitable purpose of advancing the lives of persons with disabilities, especially of children, in developing countries by supporting activities/programs, to foster their independence and interaction in the society in a fruitful and respectful manner. The Corporation will work toward evolving capacities of persons with disabilities and build respect for their right to preserve their identities. In order to achieve these goals, Sahyog International Foundation will support the following types of activities/programs for persons with disabilities, especially for children: - Educational programs. - Vocational training and placement programs. - Rehabilitation programs. - Parent Counseling programs. - Sports and cultural activities. - Activities which increase public awareness about the needs, capabilities and rights of persons with disabilities. - Activities which educate people with disabilities about their rights and fundamental freedoms. - Conduct any and all lawful activities which may assist or support in accomplishing the foregoing purposes. While working toward the above mentioned purposes, the Corporation will follow the principles/guidelines adopted by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2006).
